·        Responsible for laminating printed sheets and board for books, magazines, packaging and commercial work.

·        Set up and operate the laminating machine according to the work ticket and job specifications.

·        Load film reels and adjust temperature, pressure, speed and tension to achieve a consistent finish.

·        Inspect work throughout each production run for bubbles, wrinkles, curl, poor adhesion and misalignment, and correct issues as required.

·        Ensure that finished work meets the required quality standards and job specifications.

·        Ensure that machine safety devices are functional, report machine faults promptly and follow all relevant health and safety procedures.

·        Follow all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete the required checklists.

·        Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the laminating machine.

·        Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure that the production area remains clean, safe and organised.
